Erasmus raises his eyes slowly, focusing on the familiar voice and face as he tries to will his body to stop shaking.

"I believe I have been drugged," he murmurs tightly. Perhaps this is what the Prince was warning him against. Perhaps this is the test he needs to pass to receive whatever good thing he was promised.

"Are we still at court? Are they still watching me?"
